This all natural decorative tray is perfect for entertaining and impressing your guests, as well as catering to your own love for history and nature. The arabesque design was meant to embody nature and represent it in the most unique abstract ways. This timeless 11th century Fatimid motif originally carved into an ivory plaque from medieval Egypt is one of our favorite arabesque motifs. We have burned the design into this basswood plaque and repurposed it to be a decorative tray, coffee table tray, cheese plate, or a home accent of your choosing. Its surfaces have been finished with a food safe natural wax.Note: The picture featured in the listing here is a previously sold version of this tray. We will attempt to replicate the original as closely as we can, but there are subtle differences in the wood shape and our execution of the design.
