This design was inspired from a ceramic slipware bowl made in 12th century Syria. Medieval ceramics made in the Middle East often depicted all types of animals as artwork. Some of these artifacts really offered their owners a sense of zen, peace, and tranquility. The Arabesque created this particular design to share this beautiful historic work of art in our recreated craqueled historic look design featuring an antlered deer.
