This elegant decorative accent tray features a bird arabesque motif which originates from a carved wooden plank from 9th century Tulunid Egypt. When you visit medieval buildings in Cairo, often you might be able to see birds perched up on the beams lining the ceilings of these old structures. Sometimes you can even see birds facing each other which seems to be the inspiration of this beautiful historic motif which we reimagined and designed in this home decor accent tray. This vibrant 9 x13" wooden tray with preserved live edges has been custom stained with a purple moonglow oil based stain. We hope it will bring life and color to any room in your home or office as well as a little piece of history.
