When the Mughals ruled India for several centuries they collected several different types of works of art in albums. These albums contained paintings of court scenes, portraits of the emperors, and sometimes just beautiful depictions of nature. This wooden wall hanging is designed from the inspiration of a Mughal tree of life from a 17th century Mughal album. It has been woodburned on a 10 x 13 inch basswood plaque and handpainted and stained to create a beautiful wall hanging or home decor accent.
